Yes it's not his skill, he clearly can ride a bike, has had plently of podiums..

He and Tony Elias have gone backwards since hopping on the ducati..

I really feel sorry for Marco he is having such a crap season. I thought he would be great on the Ducati and I was hoping he would kick Casey's arse but unfortunately it hasn't happened. He just doesn't get on with that bike I read somewhere that the electronic aids on it are too good and he can't do what he wants to with it.
I hope he gets a ride with someone else for next season and he can get back to being the rider we know he is.
I still think he is better than Casey anyway

I'm answering my own question here   :

Marco Melandri is to part company with MotoGP team Ducati at least a year early, according to his agent.

The Italian has won just 32 points since joining the team on a two-year deal at the start of the season.

Alberto Vergani said: "The contract that bound us to Ducati also for 2009 has been annulled by mutual agreement and therefore without any penalties."

Vergani also said the former 250cc world champion may not even complete the season with his current team.

Italian media have speculated that Ducati may be about to replace 25-year-old Melandri with retired former rider Sete Gibernau after the Spaniard recently did tests for the team.

i agree mkatta i just hope where ever he ends up he can come back and fight at the front he always used to go for the win so there where great battles but dani kc nicky they are too steady they just go for consistency  for the points soooo boring...
