Nicky Hayden, rider for the Repsol Honda MotoGP team, spent nearly two days doing test laps at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

Hayden was riding a new production Honda sport bike on track while Team Honda AMA Superbike competitors Miguel DuHamel and Neil Hodgson were at the track for pre-season testing.

“I was in Southern California, so it was real easy to come up here,” says Hayden

“We got some great weather so I came out here, did a couple laps.”

Nicky also made a guest appearance at a private Honda event at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

“Laguna Seca, obviously, has a special place in my heart,” said Hayden,.

“Honda is launching their new bike here so we came, hung out, and did some laps.”
